The Academy gates are open in the morning from 8:35am. Infant pupils should be escorted onto the Academy grounds by their parent/guardian. Junior pupils should be dropped at the gate and come into school independently. Children should go straight to class upon arrival at the Academy between 8.35am - 8.45am.
Reception children should be accompanied to the Reception entrance with their adults where they will be met by a member of the teaching team.
Children who arrive after 8:45am must be signed in via the office and will be marked as late in the register. Those who arrive after 9.05am will be marked as having missed register and this will affect their overall attendance.
Our Academy day is 6.5 hours a day and 32.5 hours a week.
Nursery
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Arrivals
Children are welcome to arrive between 8.45am and 9.00am
The Nursery gates are then locked at 9.00am
Any arrivals after that time have to enter through the gate further along and go to the Nursery’s other door with the smiley face.
Collections
We have a collection window between 14.55 and 15.05. Parents are to wait at the gate and the children will be brought out to you.
Wednesday
N.B. The timings are a little different on Wednesdays.
The arrival window is the same as usual for Session A and full-time pupils (8.45am-9.00am) but for Session A pupils, the day will finish at 11.25am.
Day starts at 12.15pm for Session B children.
The collection window remains the same - Children to be collected between 14.55 and 15.05. Parents are to wait at the gate and the children will be brought out to you.
