At Mytchett Primary and Nursery Academy children flourish as individuals and as part of a team, in an inclusive environment underpinned by kindness and a strong sense of community.

We are an academy school and are part of the Kite Academy Trust along with nine other primary schools.

We are proud to know our children and families well and the children are at the heart of everything we do.  We have the highest expectations for all of our children and we ensure that every child achieves their full academic potential and are well prepared to become successful lifelong learners, whilst also developing strong social and emotional intelligence.

Our creative curriculum seamlessly weaves a progression of key skills, concepts and knowledge, incorporating the core curriculum subjects of English, maths and science and the wider curriculum; ensuring balance and breadth through a range engaging and meaningful contexts.  Our creative approach to curriculum allows interests to be nurtured and developed, passions to be ignited.

Our Mytchett Heart Values of Happiness, Equality, Aspiration, Respect and Trust, promote an environment where every child is valued, is shown respect and inspired to become the very best they can be.  Children learn to appreciate and value their rights, respect the rights of others and appreciate their responsibilities in return.
